Submission for Reallusion's 3D Character Contest 2024 - Stylized category. I've been inspired by modern day game remakes, and so I took the reference material and tried to imagine what a modernized version of this character would be like. Clothes were modeled in Zbrush, hair was created by using Blender's curves system, and everything was textured in Substance Painter. Probably the biggest challenge of this character was creating the hair since each shape was purposefully placed. I also wanted to use spring physics for the hair, so I took it to Cinema 4D to create the hair rig and weights, then brought it in as a prop and applied Reallusions spring physics system.
